2. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Stickgroove app and describes the data processing performed by the currently reviewed app version. A separate Privacy Policy applies to the Tiny Motion Work website. Platform providers and stores process data independently under their own terms.

3. Summary

In the reviewed version, Stickgroove does not send songs, generated videos, app settings or usage data to Tiny Motion Work. The app contains no advertising, analytics or telemetry SDKs, user accounts or cloud storage. Audio decoding, beat analysis and MP4 creation are performed locally.

4. Data processed on the device

• Selected audio files: read from a storage location chosen by the user and processed locally for beat analysis and video creation.
• Analysis data: detected BPM, beat positions and song duration are used locally to build the video timeline.
• Creative settings: the selected avatar, static objects, animated scenes, spacing, banners and video title are used locally during rendering.
• Generated videos: MP4 files and local library data such as title, duration, BPM and creation date.
• App settings: interface language, visual line effects and the locally stored confirmation of the music-rights notice.

5. Purposes and legal bases

Local processing is used solely for functions requested by the user: song analysis, scene composition, video creation, playback and management of the local library. Where this processing falls within the provider's responsibility, it is carried out to provide the requested app function under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Technically necessary local settings may also be based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is to provide a reliable and user-friendly app.

6. Google Play, Microsoft Store and other platforms

When the app is downloaded or updated, or if a purchase is made, the relevant store may independently process account, device, IP address, diagnostic and transaction data. The privacy terms of the relevant platform provider apply.

The current Stickgroove app does not contain its own in-app payment integration. Free, Pay and Premium are defined when the respective app version is built, not through a purchase within the app.

7. Permissions and file access

Stickgroove uses the system file picker so that users can choose an audio file themselves. On Android 10 and later, exported media is handled through scoped system storage without requesting general storage access. The Android project includes write permission only as a fallback for supported Android 7 to 9 devices (WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE with maxSdkVersion="28").

8. Services not used

The reviewed app version does not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob, Unity Analytics, advertising SDKs, push notification systems, user accounts, Remote Config or cloud saves. It has no server address and does not require an internet connection for its core functions.

9. Storage and deletion

Generated videos and the associated library index remain on the device. Videos can be deleted individually within the app. Local settings remain stored until they are changed, deleted through the operating system settings or removed together with the app, unless the operating system provides otherwise.

10. Saving and sharing

When a user deliberately saves or shares a finished video, the file is transferred to the storage location or third-party app selected by the user. From that point onward, further processing is governed by the selected destination and its privacy terms. Tiny Motion Work does not receive a copy.

11. Recipients and international data transfers

The app itself does not transmit content or identifiers to Tiny Motion Work or to any integrated analytics, advertising or cloud provider. The reviewed version of Stickgroove therefore does not transfer data to third countries. Independent transfers by a store or a sharing app selected by the user take place outside Stickgroove and are governed by that provider's terms.

12. Children and target age group

Stickgroove does not provide user accounts and does not transmit personal usage data to Tiny Motion Work. The final target age group must be specified in each store listing. If children are included in the target audience, the special requirements concerning data minimisation, consent and store declarations must be observed.

13. Rights of data subjects

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, data subjects have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Any consent granted may be withdrawn with effect for the future. Data subjects also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Because app content and local identifiers are not transmitted to Tiny Motion Work, the controller generally cannot access or delete data that exists solely on a user's device.

14. Security and changes

The app follows the principle of data minimisation and keeps creative content local. This Privacy Policy will be reviewed and updated if Stickgroove gains network features, cloud services, analytics, advertising, accounts or other new data flows.
